Robin heads BEEInform - a strategy consulting company, which provides expertise in the areas of: due diligence investigations, strategy development, black economic empowerment implementation and the rating and assessment of suppliers BEE status.
Robin holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Natal, an MBA from University of Witwatersrand and a Phd From DemontFord University.
Robin is a visiting lecturer at the Gordon Institute of Business Science in the fields of The Environment of Business, Innovation, Designing and Executing Your Black Economic Empowerment Strategy and Creating and Developing the Organisation. He was previously the director of executive programmes for one and a half years at GIBS. His PHD is in the field of empowerment through entrepreneurship. Robin has consulted in companies' empowerment initiatives to many medium and large sized businesses over the past three years such as:
Hollard, IBM, Mustec, Nike, Netsurit, ESCOM, Marsh, FNB etc.
Robin runs a number of empowerment courses with conferences and business schools such as the FM / Hollard online empowerment course, the CIDA empowerment courses etc.
Robin has written a book on empowerment call "Everyone's Guide to BEE", which is being followed up with a book on using Employee Owned Trusts as a vehicle to empowerment and productivity.
Robin married his childhood sweetheart Kim, and they have two daughters. |
