These guys added a great fun element to our annual dinner dance. It was a great pleasure having the opportunity to work with this team. I remember Abbott and Crabb from my student days in Port Elizabeth and must say they have got even funnier. Our Manager was adamant about securing these two gentlemen to perform the roll of MC and then complete a comedy routine at our dinner. He saw them at another function and after nursing his ribs back to health after all the laughing he wanted the same side-splitting jokes and laughter as he experienced for his annual dinner. Well, Abbot and Crabb certainly met with their brief and had all the well dressed people laughing and having fun in no time. I landed up laughing more at the people sitting at my table who where laughing so much at the Abbot and Crabb jokes that they could not dry away the tears running down there faces quick enough. Turning popular songs around with their own clever lyrics was great and certainly landed up being very funny too. Abbott and Crabb also have a great manor of interacting with each other and especially with their audience. The act was so good that our Manager took a vote with the audience to cut the dancing time and rather have Abbott and Crabb do a second comedy slot after dinner. It was unanimous that everybody wanted more fun and laughter! Needless to say, the dancing still went on into the early hours of the morning. Thanks, Abbot and Crabb, your performance at our annual dinner dance was absolutely superb.
