Before starting out in Television, Vuyo was a teacher in Johannesburg for 5 years. He used to teach Business Economics and Economics.
He is now a highly respected and very prominent journalist and business personality with solid connections and contacts at all levels of South African society. He interacts easily with people at all levels, from the Presidency, to business leaders, to the ordinary man in the street to people.
Vuyo is currently the anchor of the leading breakfast television show in the country, Morning Live on SABC 2.
He’s also the anchor of a current affairs show on SAFM.
Vuyo is a highly motivated self starter with an insatiable appetite for quality and excellence in everything he does. Chris Moerdyk who used to write for the Star Newspaper’s Media section has previously acknowledged Vuyo’s incredible work ethic giving him an olive in the media awards he wrote about, until he left the star.
This makes Vuyo one of the most sought after Facilitators and public speakers in the country.
